    High School Experience at SCS

    The high school years (grades 9–12) represent the culmination of a student’s SCS journey. Here, we challenge students with rigorous academics, intentional discipleship, and opportunities to lead, while preparing them for success after graduation. Our goal is to equip Warriors who are confident in their faith, ready for higher education, and committed to impacting the world for Christ.

    Life as an SCS Warrior

    Each day is designed to balance college-prep academics, spiritual growth, and student involvement:

    • Bible classes and chapel encourage students to deepen their walk with Christ.
    • Core academics in English, math, science (with labs), and social studies prepare students for higher-level study.
    • Electives and fine arts give students space to explore their interests in music, art, and technology.
    • Clubs, athletics, and service opportunities cultivate leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.

    College Prep & Beyond

    SCS high school students graduate with a strong foundation for the next stage of life:

    • 26 credits required for graduation, including Bible, English, math, science, social studies, foreign language, electives, and PE/health.

       

    • Honors courses available in core subjects to challenge advanced learners.

       

    • Advanced Placement (AP) classes offered in areas such as Calculus AB, Human Geography, Microeconomics, Pre-Calculus, and Computer Science Principles.

       

    • Dual enrollment opportunities allow juniors and seniors to earn college credit through local partnerships.

       

    • College counseling and guidance help students navigate applications, scholarships, and career exploration.

       

    Recent graduates of SCS have gone on to universities such as NC State, UNC–Chapel Hill, Clemson, East Carolina, Liberty University, and Campbell, among others.
